The American Psychosocial Oncology Society (APOS) is accepting Late-Breaking Abstracts for poster presentation at the APOS 11th Annual Conference, 13 – 15 February 2014 in Tampa, Florida!
APOS recognizes the results of some exciting new research or programs were not available in time for the general abstract submission deadline in September. Additionally, we would like to enhance student participation. The late-breaking abstract program is meant to capture cutting-edge work, clinical trials and analysis that has just been completed, and student endeavors that otherwise would not have been available for presentation.
The Late-Breaking Abstracts submission period is 18 November - 9 December, 2013
Abstracts will be reviewed by members of the Scientific Program Committee, and authors notified of acceptance no later than 18 December 2013. Late-breaking abstracts are eligible for poster presentation only and will not be included in the abstract book published in Psycho-Oncology. Abstracts will be included with attendee conference materials on the conference website.
Special Note to Students: APOS is eager to encourage student participation and will accept student abstracts for poster presentations by the Late-Breaking Abstract deadline. Volunteer opportunities are available to offset the cost of conference attendance. There will be a $100 cash prize for the best student abstract!
