Continuing Education


This conference is jointly sponsored by USF Health and APOS.

Continuing Education is offered through the University of South Florida (USF) for physicians, nurses, social workers, mental health counselors and marriage and family counselors.

Please indicate on your registration form if you wish to receive continuing education credit for your participation in the APOS 6th Annual Conference and workshops.

A one-time fee of $35 applies regardless of the number or type of continuing education credits received..

Faculty disclosure: The University of South Florida College of Medicine adheres to the ACCME Standards regarding commercial support of continuing medical education. It is the policy of USF College of Medicine that the faculty and planning committee disclose real or apparent conflicts of interest relating to the topics of this educational activity, that relevant conflicts of interest are resolved and that speakers will disclose any unlabeled/unapproved use of FDA-approved drugs or devices during their presentations. Psychologists: The University of South Florida College of Medicine is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. This activity is offered for up to 21.75 hours of continuing education credit. The University of South Florida College of Medicine maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

Florida Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Mental Health Counselors: The University of South Florida College of Public Health is an approved provider of continuing education credits for clinical social work, marriage and family therapy and mental health counseling. This program has been reviewed and approved for up to 26.1 contact hours. Clinical social workers, marriage and family therapists and mental health counselors licensed outside the state of Florida should submit their certificate of attendance to the appropriate agency to receive their contact hours.
